City of Greater Geelong (CoGG)

City of Greater Geelong elections were held in October 2017.  The Greater Geelong city is divided into 4 electoral wards.

Eleven councillors have been elected for a three-year term (to bring Greater Geelong back in line with local council elections, held every four years). The mayor is elected by the councillors for a maximum two year term.

Portarlington falls in the Bellarine ward represented by Councillors Jim Mason, Stephanie Asher and Trent Sullivan.
